What we stand for
The market taught homeowners not to trust anyone. We built the opposite.
Today, finding someone to do work on your home usually means wading through paid placements, reviews you can't verify, and pricing nobody will state upfront. HomeTrust exists to replace that process with something plain, evidenced, and honest, for homeowners and the businesses who've earned their standing the hard way.
The Threshold: the light left on for you.
Our mark is an arch, not a house, a hammer, or a roofline. It's a doorway: the moment a homeowner and the right professional actually meet. The gold dot at its center is deliberate and rare: gold appears only where trust has genuinely been earned, never as decoration. If it were everywhere, it would mean nothing.

What we're changing about how this works today
Not incremental. Structural. The incentive itself is different.
The way it usually works
- Placement goes to whoever pays the most for it.
- Reviews can be bought, gamed, or left unverified.
- Pricing stays vague until you're already committed.
- A platform's incentive is ad revenue, not your outcome.
The HomeTrust way
- Placement follows a Trust Score no one can purchase.
- Only homeowners who contacted the business through HomeTrust can review it, and every review is read by our team before it's published.
- Licenses and insurance are checked and shown on the profile, with their expiration dates.
- Our incentive is a real match. That's the only number we call the North Star.
How that shows up in the product
Evidence over adjectives
We don't say "top-rated pros." We say "312 verified reviews, 86 documented projects." Every claim on the surface is a real, computed number, never a marketing adjective standing in for one.
Radically plain
Our core promise is stated directly and often: no one can pay to appear here. Not implied, not buried in a footnote. Said plainly, on the page, every time it's relevant.
Calm confidence
Premium should feel unhurried, not flashy. No countdown timers, no fake scarcity, no urgency manipulation, anywhere in the product. If something is trustworthy, it doesn't need to pressure you.
Facilitating communication
The whole point is getting a homeowner and the right professional talking, directly, as people. Messaging is never a paywalled feature. Gating basic communication behind a paid tier would undermine the entire reason this platform exists.
