Not every platform's incentives point the same direction as yours. Here's the structural difference.
| HomeTrust | Typical directory / lead-auction platform | |
|---|---|---|
| How you're ranked | Trust Score only, same formula for every business | Highest bidder or biggest ad spend often wins placement |
| Pricing | One flat $25/month fee, know your cost upfront | Pay-per-lead pricing, cost is unpredictable and scales with volume |
| Who else got your lead | A conversation started with you is yours | Leads are commonly resold to several competing businesses at once |
| Reviews | Every review is tied to a verified, completed project |
Every business gets a verified profile and Trust Score. HomeTrust Pro adds the operational tools on top, never a different ranking.
See how homeowners find and interact with your profile, not just a raw view count.
Which of your projects actually win you work, so you know what to publish more of.
See your actual view-to-inquiry and inquiry-to-hire rates, not a vanity view count.
Profile views, inquiries, and confirmed hires: every number is a real query against your own data, never an estimated dollar figure.
Your performance summary lands in your inbox, no digging through a dashboard required.
No. Monthly billing has no commitment — cancel anytime. Annual billing costs less per month but is a binding 12-month commitment; canceling early bills the remaining balance.
Yes, on monthly billing — cancel from your account settings whenever you want, no calls or emails required. Annual billing is the one exception, since it's a fixed-term commitment made upfront.
Never. A quote request from a homeowner goes to the business they chose, full stop — HomeTrust doesn't resell it, split it across competitors, or charge extra for it.
A review can only be posted once both sides confirm a job is actually complete — there's no open field where anyone can leave a review without a documented project behind it.
Yes. Your account is one profile, one Trust Score, and one set of reviews — add every additional city or county you operate in under Service Areas on your profile, and homeowners searching any of those areas will find you.
Homeowners come to HomeTrust because rankings can't be bought and every review is tied to real, completed work. That trust is what makes the leads you get here higher-intent than a cold directory listing. Homeowners who find you already believe what they're seeing.
Verification typically takes 24–48 hours. You won't be charged until your profile is verified and live.
| Often open to manipulation, with little to no verification |
| Going it alone (no platform) | Verified badge, reviews, and discovery built in | You own 100% of the cost of building trust and getting found, from zero |
