Yes, always. Finding a professional, messaging, requesting quotes, saving favorites, and every homeowner dashboard tool are free, with no paid tier.
Every business earns a score out of 98, built from 9 verifiable factors like license and insurance verification, verified reviews, and response time. The same formula applies to every business, and it cannot be purchased.
No. There is no paid placement, ad, or featured-listing mechanism anywhere on HomeTrust. Ranking is Trust Score and relevance only.
It means we've confirmed the business's license (where their category legally requires one) and insurance are genuinely on file and current, re-checked monthly — a real bar most directories skip entirely. It isn't a guarantee of workmanship or a warranty against mistakes. The agreement for a project is between you and the business directly; if a dispute or damage happens, the business's own liability insurance, which we've confirmed is on file, is the applicable coverage.
Broward County: Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, and the cities around them. We're building out real supply city by city and category by category, so a specific type of business might not have a live match in your exact city yet. We plan to expand into Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties as we grow.
Nothing's wrong — it just isn't finished yet. After you submit a new email, a confirmation link goes out, and sometimes two: one to your old address and one to your new one. The change only takes effect once you've clicked through everything that was sent, so check both inboxes (including spam) if it seems stuck. Until then, keep logging in with your old email — it still works.
Open a business's profile and use "Request a quote" or send them a message directly. There are no repeat forms to fill out for each business you contact.
Report it from the business's profile or your message thread with them. HomeTrust isn't a party to the agreement between you and the business, so we can't resolve an individual project dispute directly — but every report is reviewed, and businesses with lapsed credentials or a pattern of substantiated issues are removed from the platform. It's also worth knowing every listed business carries current liability insurance, which we've confirmed is on file.
Create a business account, then follow the setup checklist on your dashboard.
HomeTrust Pro is $25/month billed monthly with no commitment, or $20/month billed as a 12-month annual plan. Either way you get the full toolkit: verified profile, unlimited projects and photos, full Trust Score participation, messaging, CRM, quotes and invoices, appointment scheduling, and analytics. Payment is collected at signup, but you're not actually charged until your license and insurance verification passes and your profile goes live.
Yes — businesses that join before January 1, 2028 and build a real, complete profile (3+ published projects with 3+ photos each, plus your service area, pricing range, hours, and payment methods) are grandfathered onto HomeTrust Pro at no cost, for as long as that profile stays complete. This threshold is deliberately not about license or insurance — a great one-person operation without a formal license shouldn't be locked out of free billing.
Only if your category legally requires a state license — if so, we confirm it's current before your profile ever appears in search. Every business, in every category, does need current general liability insurance on file; that part has no exception.
On the monthly plan, yes — cancel anytime. The annual plan is a binding 12-month commitment: canceling early means the remaining months on the term are billed as a final invoice, regardless of why you're canceling or how much you used HomeTrust during the term.
Go to Settings > Notifications and turn on "Text message alerts," or turn it on right from your business profile (Dashboard > Profile) while you're already there — both save to the same setting, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Either way you'll need a phone number on file, and you can turn it off again anytime.
